Having a copy of a very similar earlier work by the Research Squad, the Panther Project, I'm sure this one will be excellent... Looking forward to seeing a (proper paper) copy soon Alasdair!

Re: My (our) NEW Book is Published today
I inherited my wife's Kindle and haven't read a proper book since starting to use it.
They are piling up here now so will have to soon - my eldest has brought me a heap from his latest trip to Stockholm - all original Swedish and not available on Kindle. The Girl In The Spider's Web is but not in Swedish.
Great when I fall asleep while reading as it doesn't lose the page. Reading in the bath is a bit fraught though

No, sorry, for me a book has to be bound, contain real pages and be made of paper...

Re: My (our) NEW Book is Published today
I have some plastic bags for it now - the first time I took it in the bath I splashed it and it conked out - revived itself after a couple of hours though.
Dropping a book in the bath isn't so bad as they only cost a tenner at most
Always read in the bath, too boring otherwise. Always fall asleep too but usually catch the book before it hits the water

Re: My (our) NEW Book is Published today
Books is the way for me, I have a terrible problem with cracking touch screens. Terrible news people robbing it, I hope they get whats deserved. If you win the lottery I suggest visiting them in a Tiger to discuss License fees.
Is there another tank in the pipeline? I have a wild dream of buying a Russian BMP1 and would love a Research Squad textbook. Its the perfect North Wales vehicle being amphibious you're not bound by the Angelsea bridges plus it has night vision and a loud hailer. Marshalls in Cambridge have them in stock left over from the Cold War, most only have 10-20km on the clock, I think they are about £5500. I've tried to get a couple of farmers to buy one instead of a tractor but none have been up for it at all.

BMP's ?, just get the original Russian issued books... and a little bit "modern" for us
To work on them get spares from Poland (cheep) and a big hammer...job done
Paper books are on the way.....
It amazes me as well, I like paper as well but a good few like to go electric ?....go figure

Re: My (our) NEW Book is Published today
I was driving a BMP-1 in Germany only a few weeks ago - a very sensible choice for an easy to drive runabout Not surprised the farmers weren't interested in one though - you need a bit of lateral thinking. Try getting them to buy one of these potato harvesters (MDK-2) - a much more versatile beastelma wrote: I have a wild dream of buying a Russian BMP1 and would love a Research Squad textbook. ....although, naturally, it should be in green
