Mehr oil filter's

Post by thatfatbloke »

There seems to be a lot of these on ebay for around £3/£3.50. Does anybody know if they are any good,or should I stick to one I've heard of for twice the price?. Thanks.

They may be excellent but unfortunatly you wont know how effective they are at filtering the oil as most engine wear isn't rapid

I don't know how effective this is but I use one with a spiral of old fridge door magnetic strip taped round the outside to catch any stray bits of metal.
The filters are so cheap I change them every 6K rather than at the oil change interval of 12.5K.
