Can anyone explain to me in simple terms what is meant by Citaerobics please. I guess its to do with excersising the hydropneumatic suspension of Xantias, BXs and the like but what exactly is done? Please help a Citroen dummy.
Cheers

Citaerobics
Ok so is it just moving the suspension up and down on the control lever then? How many times and how often should you do it? I did have a look through the archives but cannot find out details. Most posts assume that you know sort of thing.

Yes, move the car between lowest and highest positions. Don´t rush it...wait a few second for the car to stabilize on each of the extreme hight settings.
How often you do it depends on your aim. I usually do it after any kind of repair on the hydraulics, specially for priming up. When no repairs are due, I do it once every month.
Each session of citaerobics consists of 5-10 complete height changes.

Hard on the pump? not at all.. It's running all the time anyway, just in bypass when not needed. The regulator is actually cycled slightly LESS when doing citaerobics (depenedent on whether you're on your way up or down) and the accumulator sees no difference.
Not doing this on a regular basis will cause you far more problems.

I thought I was the only one who did this. Haven't done it for a while since having to leave the light's on max and getting abuse for my slow pull away (from other drivers and erm my wife. ooops!!)fastandfurryous wrote:There's also the "traffic lights roulette"
Can you get a full cycle (normal => max => min => normal) in before the lights go green? Always confuses others in the queue, and is somewhat cheaper than the other traffic lights game (the grand prix)
