When you go past the white vertical line on the camera does it give you a lane warning alarm?

I spotted an interesting and highly illegal registration plate a few days back.
Naturally couldn't remember what it was by the time I got home.
Took the dashcam out (I had reformatted it) and downloaded all the videos.
To discover that the one I wanted had run for only six seconds and the bit I wanted would have been after about a minute and a half. All the rest were intact.

As you said it was an illegal plate Steve, I suspect it was fitted with 'camera detect and jam' technology!!

Camera gave up long before the encounter.

A bit of TT race action from last evening's NBRC event...

Negotiating a tight bend on a fast downhill stretch of the course...

Possibly slightly exceeding the new speed limit on that stretch of road too. Just this week it's gone from a 40 limit to a 30.

I know this bit of the course very well and can fully understand why the rider is not on his tri-bars at this point. It took me a full year of practice to gain the skill and confidence to negotiate this bend on the tri-bars and even at 25mph it's pretty terrifying... This rider was going a bit faster than that!

I have a series of subsequent photos showing the rider getting back on to his tri-bars as the road straightens and levels out a little.

The rider in the photo above, experienced TT rider he is, admitted he was a bit terrified at the time I took the photo!

Good on him, I wonder how many cyclists get done for speeding. Just had a holiday in Wales, loads of cyclists there. Almost all built-up areas have a 20mph limit, that must cause problems when organising any races

I believe you can't actually be done for speeding on a bike as there's no legal requirement to carry a speedometer.

However, you can be done for the offence of 'Furious Cycling' or words to that effect... Cycling dangerously and without due care and attention...

MoT day for my Xantia ….for some reason I’m distracting myself ….what better time to explode my bikes in the utility room and put all the good bits on my summer ride - it seems to be ‘puncture’ season so I’m swapping to the harder ‘puncture resistant’ tyres ….. I had a short 9 mile ride yesterday followed by a 2 mile walk back home It seems I’ve lost the skill of roadside puncture repairs so today I’m doing some ‘practice periods’

Excellent I never patch tubes - always replace them. Glue, patches and me is a rubbish combination
