Wheelbrace not clipped under the parcel shelf either?

Nope, parcel shelf is light flimsy moulded cardboard thing - nothing with it unfortunately.

Under floor foam spacer (forgot to get a picture) has moulded reliefs to suit towing eye and a warning triangle (as think the kit in the spare wheel can be displaced by an optional subwoofer) but not in the foam either side unfortunately.

Tie down points = pop rivetted to (hardboard with carpet encapsulation) boot floor - not a great idea!

This one is free range, another missing entirely

Speaking of ad blue , last Tuesday I was filling up at my usual forecourt i watched a BMW driver pay run out with a can of ad blue then tipped the whole lot into same hole where his diesel went , he looked at me i looked at him he pulled a funny face back so I said , you got Break down cover in that , answer was no why , i said you better get some , what for , so I said do you know where that stuff should go what you just tipped into your fuel tank , oh yes the chap in the garage said it goes with the fuel ???

I was very pleased I'd payed on the pump so as soon as I hit the price I wanted I put my cap back on wished the BMW driver a good day and went.

So just in case this crashes and I'm on 5g network plus home WiFi when in , ive copied it all to reposted if it logs me out..

Another notable absence from the jack tray is the locking wheel nut key, hope you have it or the locking bolts have been removed. I have an extending wheel brace in the boot to use if away from home, easier to use than ones supplied with a car as I get older and weaker.

I've been in some remote spots, though I'm not "getting my money's worth" out of my breakdown cover, I'd not hang around waiting for breakdown folks for a flat tyre. Had a few flats over the years, yet to have one at home!

Adblue tank emptied tonight:

Fluid had definite top surface of red liquid. First (failed) attempt at syphoning it out, then drawn out with 12 volt pump. Red at the top, much nearer clear further down.

Tank refilled with approx 16.5 litres of Adblue. After filling again a red film present in the bubbly top surface.

It'll have 24 hours to settle and I'll see what time and enthusiasm I have tomorrow. May pump out some more and replenish again. Probably about 5 litres left in my big 20 litre Adblue tub.

Still to find time for Diagbox session.

If it is floating on top of the adblue you should only need to pump off the top layer. Possibly if there is not much and the tank is filled to the top of the filler neck, it might all just go there making it easy to pump out only that bit.

Yes, I'm hoping so. I drained the tank as fully as I could as wanted to see how far the red stuff went. It became a game of :
Pump drawing air - tube in a bit further - red stuff - near-clear stuff - back a bit - pump drawing air - repeat!

Time dependent, I'll draw off as little of the top as I can tonight, then top up with Adblue once more. If I can get majority of the red out each time, it should diminish to the point it's no longer a worry - I hope!!

Fingers crossed getting the red stuff out. As a test you could put a bit of it in a jam jar and then a bit of adblue to see how they separate and how long it takes.

Good news about the refund, they only seem to give full months back so when cars change hands they get 2 months worth of tax for 1 part month.

Yes, I'll put some drawn out on one side and see if it readily separates (is hopeful as seemed to sit on the top quite keenly)

Yes, it's a good little earner for them how they "aren't able" to calculate it daily. It doesn't smart much on £20/year tax rate, but is a decent chunk for those on the top (£760??) annual tax rate.
