3k your car is sound , you know the car inside out , I'd say that was money well spent .Rp0thejester wrote: Yesterday, 02:34Nope, it was literally 6 miles a day, to and from school when schools shut at 1pm due to the heat. I don't deal with heat well due to my meds and being ginger! My car isn't ginger but it still hurt her. £3000 later, you won't find another C8 as mechanically sound as mine....... should of waited, that Xantia V6 looks awesome!!!!

Yes, g for grammes as far as I know
I'll try and get the Greg 308 (that's had the risk of blocking messages) codex read tomorrow.

Hmmm, completely silent red 308 this morning - no radio, sat Nav or parking sensor noises at all!?!

Has somebody pointed a universal remote control at the car and hit the "Mute" button?

I think it was working yesterday, so the only thing that could have upset it is the Diagbox session yesterday afternoon.Huskyxantia wrote: Today, 10:46Odd , any idea whats caused it ?MattBLancs wrote: Today, 09:49 Hmmm, completely silent red 308 this morning - no radio, sat Nav or parking sensor noises at all!?!

My joke aside, could you have pressed the MUTE button on the audio system? I know with some audio systems MUTE affects everything that runs through it.

No, sadly it's not that.Hell Razor5543 wrote: Today, 11:45 My joke aside, could you have pressed the MUTE button on the audio system? I know with some audio systems MUTE affects everything that runs through it.
On this car mute is what you get tapping the centre console volume knob for off and same action from pressing the left volume scroller on the steering wheel (which is marked mute, confusingly!)
I'll get it on Diagbox again shortly

I guess it's possible, but nothing I'm aware of to trigger it (e.g. nothing plugged into cigarette lighter socket etc)
The touchscreen is behaving as normal (sat Nav visible, parking sensor/camera screen functions look ok on screen. It's receiving audio / RDS info as it was telling what was playing/ program info etc.
Anyway, Diagbox not plugged in as...
... Though the forecast was for heavy rain which never materialised. So I've set to and dug my way to the DPF additive tank location. Brief detour as thought it was on the right hand side = nope!

Yep I can confirm
Don't look here: But can look here: So, having reached the tank, disconnecting the hose connector:
- on tank connection= "overflow" connection
- Hose connection= route in for the new fluid
Place your bets, Diagbox reported tank as being full, how much of the litre went in?
- Spoiler: show

Well done, ive done the same job twice and know how it feels. The fastest and easiest was a 207 as that was a pouch.

Ha ha! I should be a pro at this now! 206, C5, the grey 308 SW and blue 308 SW have all needed a top up of this stuff. Still seem to end up with it half way up my arm despite best efforts not to end up wearing itHuskyxantia wrote: Today, 18:57 Well done, ive done the same job twice and know how it feels. Think was slightly less on the floor this time around, so perhaps I am getting a little more efficient
Not tackled a pouch type yet
