Very weird glitch , but it is French, lol
Husky. :? Thinking outside of the box is better than sitting in a dark one.

Understatement!
From memory, not on a 307 but on the cars I've plugged in, you can interrogate the radio itself, and it can log faults - sure I've seen faults about the (amplified) aerial, the MFD screen, steering wheel controls, parking sensor ECU, etc all raised by the radio itself. There's also Actuator Tests (think you can have it produce a sound on each speaker individually) so a play with that might be worthwhile too.
I've been through trying to diagnose my RD45 with a couple of users on the dedicated Audio Forum. I think we came to a dead end, but the last two screens I've seen in DiagBox about my audio system didn't show anything like that. The usual response in DiagBox is ECU not recognised, but on the last occasion when I tried to access the audio system, I did get something a bit different. I won't say it was more useful because I don't know! Anyway, these were the last two screens from DiagBox:
autoradio_short.pdf
(448.55 KiB) Downloaded 10 times
autoradio_long.pdf
(83.04 KiB) Downloaded 11 times
I'm putting my fault down as "just a glitch" and effectively fixed by IT repair option 1
Having spent a long period (I was going to type 'the best') of my working life in computer or IT support, I'm well accustomed to telling people to do exactly that!

The other two responses from me and my department that were guaranteed to fix most user errors were,
  • Is it plugged in?
and,
  • Have you turned up the brightness control?
Cheers,
Andrew

Do you think he should come and fix mine, too?

He looked like he needed a bit of sun to colour his skin! :sun:

Matt’s gone silent …

I don’t think he likes the idea.

Ha ha, sorry folks, busy!

I will likely go to Australia again at some point, I have some relatives over there and have been once before (gosh I think it works out as 28 years ago!) but it's a gruelling flight / couple of flights to get there so wouldn't subject my two boys to that just yet. One day :)

Not sure how many tools I'd get in the hand luggage :rofl2:

Not much news to report, the Red 308 has taken me to the office three times thus week and seems well. A clutch that doesn't slip when you put your foot down is a definite improvement! Filled up the tank so will see how we fair on economy in due course. I wonder if there's a rear wheel bearing going as bit of noise from the rear (drone)

Autodoc order has arrived yesterday after so a few new bits to put on.
