... but not too drastic, well until i enter the Dealers parts dept.
put Lexia on briefly 2-3 weeks ago, noticed that rear LED brake lamp showing short on the live side, sure enough lamp wasn't working.
so as you do on a Bank Holiday i thought i'd take a look....finally got all trim and clips undone without breaking anything..1st for me!
not looking too promising..
managed to get lens off without breaking, however the reflector was slightly more stubborn so won't be going back on
connecting pins and wire look a little worse for wear, tester on and definitely no continuity, short wire checked and that is OK so Citroen here i come, lube at the ready
first minor CIII problem....

Re: first minor CIII problem....
at that price i won't be
bit of wire, soldering iron, glue and sealant, job nearly jobbed
took out the corroded pins/track, replaced with wire into connector, pieced together the broken reflector lens and sealed cover back on, just waiting now for sealant to go off before re-fitting tomorrow...X fingers.
checked that lamp still works at each stage, so far so good.
