R12 -> RS24 gas change

Hi. I'm going to need the 309's Air Con serviced soon. As I understand it has an old R12 system which cannot be regassed with the old R12. I'm led to belive an RS24 gas can be used without modication. Has anybody gone down this route and how has the system performed? thanks

Haven't struck it personally and very little shown on the net in relation to it.

Have used this:

with considerable success and out here it has been used in a few of the older cars back as far as 504s with equal success.
Is totally environmentally friendly, safe, works on lower pressures and volumes, is a lot cheaper than anything else on the market and will go over any other gas and doesn't need any mods as far as oils, seals, o rings or hoses are concerned.
Most I have spoken to who have used it reckon it gives the coldest air/con they've ever experienced and I endorse that comment.

I've had three cars regassed with RS24 and it's worked perfectly fine.

The last car was a 1989 Transam. Hardly used the car but the gas performed equally as well after being in the system 2 years as when it was installed.

It doesn't seem to "weep" away like R134 does.

I had my 1991 H reg S1 24v regased with Rs24.. It was cold too, and no problems what so ever!

A 309 with air con, you cant be in the UK then!?
