C5 X7 RD4 to RD45 upgrade screen question.

I realise this topic keeps cropping up and I'm sorry to bring it up again. I've read through a bunch of very helpful threads, including the ones below.

They have answered a lot of the questions I originally had, however, I'm still confused about the version of screen I need. The first link says "software greater than V.71" on page 12. Does that mean V0.71 or V71? My current display for my RD4 is V71.3 (pic below), would this suffice or do I need to get a new screen?

Hello. I did the upgrade in one of the threads you linked. My research at the time told me that the screen HAD to be changed too, otherwise it wouldn't work. I'd like to link where I got that info from but it was a long time ago

Sorry this is a bit late, I must of missed this. What he meant was Version 71.*, so hard to say if V71.3 will cut the mustard or not.

I think that mine is 71.3 72.01, and that is compatible with the RD 45.

Forgot to update this thread a while back. Ended up picking up a screen and HU from Aliexpress. They both work, but the HU needed a full teardown and 3-week air-out because it absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. Other than that, all is fine. My stock screen didn't support bluetooth as it turned out.

I just checked and mine is a 72.01 (which is compatible). I will correct the post above.
