No, mine is universal 10" unit, this one viewtopic.php?p=652914#p652914

No problem with connections, 25 years of car -audio experience might help. I bought also can-adaptor lead from Joying. No problems with speakers (no factory amp here). I share internet from my phone, hotspot goes on automatically after car and phone connect via Bluetooth. Ordered from aliexpress Joying store (shipped from europe so no tax).

Dear skoda82,

I beg you to help me, please:

Did you manage to connect the Android device properly (with sound)?
If so, what did you do?

By the way, which 7" Android device did you buy?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hello there.
I too have just fitted this aftermarket radio model. It was kind of a pain to fit it in correctly, I had to make a makeshift harness in plastic.
But alas, there is still something that bothers me.

Most important: Front parking sensors. They show on screen alright, but no beep at all, while rear sensors beep as they should.

To a lesser extent: the white and grey fakra antenna cables and there is only one antenna in port. What's the difference between them?

It depends on what system you had before you installed the Android. You may need to have the vehicle configured to change some other settings if you didn’t have a telematics system installed previously.

The same goes for the aerials. These will be different based on what you had before. You may be missing the GSM/GPS/FM2 aerials....

I had an RT6 fitted with GPS and parking sensors from factory. The blue fakra confirmed to be the GPS aerial, but grey and white remain and I'm not sure which one of them is the radio aerial.

Depending on version of RT6:

The Blue Connector is for the GPS
The White Connector is for the AM / FM1
The Grey connector is for the FM2

Alright, thanks. So that's why plugging one another between grey and white didn't make any difference. I guess I'm good to go with the white one plugged in? The radio only has one antenna in for radio.
Still, the issue with the front radar not beeping unless reverse is in gear bugs me a little.

The factory fitted systems are unique to the vehicles and are designed to interface with the vehicle’s specific options and data networks. An Android system is not really designed for it, so you’ll have to expect issues.

The reason why there is 2 FM aerials on the factory fitted unit us because of the dual tuners. One provides the radio source you are listening to, while the FM 2 constantly searches for the best signal and switches where necessary.

I quote my earlier post:

- Parking sensors work fine, I moved parking sensor display from center display to the small display inside speedo with diagbox, and it works great. Also changed parking sensor beep coming out of alarm-beeper under steering wheel. There´s somekind of delay with can-boxes that play out parking sensor sound, so I think this is much better option.

BTW got torque working on my Joying with obd2-adaptor ordered from Joying. Now I´ve got a bunch of extra meters on my dash if I want some additional info.

This sounds exactly like the setup I want - 1 question though - does the parking space detection still work?

Don´t use it, but have to test it.

Yesterday I got AHD reverse camera installed between plate light and trunk opening button. Image seems quite good on 10" display after quick test.

Hi guys, I nees help, sorry for bringing this old topic back up. I actually bought two od these devices (from the original author's post) for two C5's, my father's 2009 2.7hdi exclusive with RT4 (actually RT3 evo i think) and mine 3.0hdi exclusive from late 2010. We first tried to connect it to 2.7 with RT4 but we got no sound, device is working. Any advice on how to connect cables? I would really apriciate any help, we trideset few things but no luck.

Thank you,
Mladen

I can't help you with this - you really need to take it up with the seller as it's not Citroen equipment. If either of you have the equaliser amplifier fitted, that may present a further problem.

Hi Marc, thanks for the advice, but I am afraid those guys wont help me much, I will try. I believe I will make it work, it will probably take some time, if I do I will add instructions on how I made it work.
Is it possible to identify via photo which amplifier is this? I hope I attached it correctly. Or maybe via VIN number?

Thanks,
Mladen

I can only help you with official part numbers, but this requires a membership upgrade - details below if interested, otherwise, you will have to disassemble it from the bracket to check if there is any info on the unit.

If you can't already find the info you need on the Forum, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future parts requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.

If interested, links are below, then pop your VIN up.
A response to your question by a Forum Admin requiring parts or additional information requires you to have made a current contribution (£10 min.) to the Forum.
