Participants welcomed

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

Thread starters and thread joiners-in in particular.

It keeps the forum lively, and when anyone logs in, its always better to have something new to view, and join in with if you so desire. Also participation encourages participation.

On the other side there is nothing more discouraging to participation than lack of comment or response.

I think we all miss CitroJim's activity on this forum and all wish him well. His fine example of joining in is second to none.

Whenever I look at "who is online" its generally very sparsely populated these days which makes active participation even more vital, although like this screenshot the "bots" and "crawlers" always ever presents!

Only 24ish hours to go, otherwise you will have to wait until 2021.....

or maybe every topic possible to be talked about, has already been covered?

I did think after Deep Purple did Strange Kinda Woman and Black Night that all the best songs had already been written, but of course I was proved totally wrong. Discovered Steely Dan and Joni Mitchell and many many others after that :-D

Crikey has no-one started a new thread yet, I've been out on the dog walk and back, and not a solitary new thread started for January in the hour I've been away.....

Hang on I've an Idea why dont we have a pictures thread where the FCF faithful take their photographic devices out snap a picture or two and out and post it in a special thread called

Picture(s) of the Day

Regards Neil

PS Back to the drawing board-it been done back in 2015 and has had 6310 replies and 113,860 views
...still join in if you can!

Ok reasonable request, thanks Mick for rising to the challenge but I'd better show willing myself.

So here's an "indoor thread" which I hope most of the FCF faithful can participate in...

Requirements-old photo's and a device that can take pictures.
