Xantia flickering interior lights

Post by yoseff »

It's already the second time that after opening a door (In the evening , with humidity) that interior lights look to be in disco mode , as they turn on and off. (Completely and not just dimming.)

It happens with any of the 4 doors opening
Has anyone here had the same weird experience? What the heck can that be? Where do i start looking?

Curiously , during the day (with higher temperatures and no humidity) it doesnt do the same... I'm genuinely puzzled

I had this issue with my 406 many years ago. My issue though was the opposite. Interior lights would stay on when the a door was opened but would flick on and off when shut. In my case it turned out to be the lh front door. The car thought it wasn't fully shut. If I looked that door the lights would go out.

It didnt look like a door switch issue , as it did with all doors the same.
Curiously, this evening i tried to record it , and was not doing. So it seems that it needs a certain (low) temperature or (high) humidity :?
