2008 C5 1.6 hdi Car wont start
Anyone know how to resolve these codes P1351 has stopped displaying but P1366 P1367 P1366, P1367 repeat which makes 4 faults and they won't clear.
codes P1366, P1367, P1351

Without wanting to state the obvious, there are faults - so of course they won't clear. You need to find the cause of the faults.
You can ignore P1351 - that's a Glow Plug / Glow Plug Relay Fault and won't affect the vehicle. As for the others, you'll need to provide the VIN so these are checked against the correct engine ECU.

Re: codes P1366, P1367, P1351
How do i check out the Vin number against the codes up to now I've read 3 different location
Crankshaft TDC, replaced sensor, no change.
Injectors Elec characteristics outside Standards outside
Ignition spare, no idea what that means.
When checking the fuel filter opened the bleed nipple and it just hissed air out, will check deiseal supply at injectors
Cheers

Re: codes P1366, P1367, P1351
Doesn't look like good news, but read through and it will show the tests that can be done to ascertain what needs doing.
There's a technical bulletin concerning one or more of these codes:
Vehicles Affected: C5 (X7) and mounting Bosch and DV type engine and Euro 4 engine emission control.
Customer Symptom: Lighting of the engine diagnostic warning lamp with or without transition to downgrade mode - starting impossible - in the presence of one or more of the following fault code(s) p2148, p1366, p1367, p1368, p1369.
Cause: Electrical or mechanical failure of one or more of the parts below:
Repair Procedure
Fault code reading.
Check of the condition of the engine electrical harness.
Electrical check of the diesel injectors.
Replacement of the engine management ECU (if necessary).
Replacement of the diesel injectors (if necessary).
Replacement of the engine harness (if necessary).
Parts required
1 Engine management ECU (Part No. depending on vehicle specification) (if necessary).
1 Engine electrical harness (Part No. depending on vehicle specification) (if necessary).
Diesel injectors (Part No. depending on vehicle specification) (Quantity depending on the result of the check) (if necessary).
Read the fault codes:
Check 1
Visually check the connectors of the 4 diesel injectors (Locking, cleanliness, condition of the pins and clips, presence of fluid or foreign bodies) :
If there are anomalies: Rectify, This information does not apply
If there are no anomalies: Carry out check 2
Check 2
Visually check the condition of the engine management ECU connectors (Locking, cleanliness, condition of the pins and clips, presence of fluid or foreign bodies) :
If there are anomalies: Rectify, This information does not apply
If there are no anomalies: Carry out check 3
Check 3
Check the resistance at each injector between the 2 pins of the connector (Diesel injector side) :
If the value is 0,3 Ohm ± 10 %: Carry out check 4
If the value is other than 0,3 Ohm ± 10 %: Carry out repair 1
Check 4
Check the insulation between each pin of the connector on the diesel injector side and the body of the diesel injector :
If the value is other than infinity: Carry out repair 1
If the value is infinity: Carry out check 5
Check 5
Check the continuity and insulation between each connector of the diesel injectors on the electrical harness side and the engine management ECU connector :
If there are anomalies: Carry out repair 2
If there are no anomalies: Carry out repair 3
Repair
Repair 1
Replace the diesel injector.
Repair 2
Replace the engine harness.
Repair 3
Replace the engine management ECU.
Time:
3.90 Hours to run checks and replace 1 diesel injector
4.00 Hours to run checks and replace 2 diesel injectors
4.20 Hours to run checks and replace 3 diesel injectors
4.40 Hours to run checks and replace 4 diesel injectors
Checks and Repair 2 5.60 Hours
Checks and Repair 2 2.20 Hours

Re: codes P1366, P1367, P1351
Thanks, I think! Not what i was hoping for,
Looks like a busy and expensive time ahead.
struggling with 1 injector, seized, the other 3 read 1.3 to 1.5 ohms on 200 ohm setting????
Thanks for getting back

Re: codes P1366, P1367, P1351
I have replaced a fuel injector with an open circuit but am still getting fault codes P1366 P1367 P1638 P1639 and P2148 with the message
:Fuel Injector Group A Supply Voltage circuit High.
Can you please advise what i can do
Thanks

It may be the harness then - as suggested as a possible cause and repair as per the technical bulletin.

Re: codes P1366, P1367, P1351
I have measured the supply voltage to the Injectors, cyl 1 = 0.210V ign on 0.000V ign. off
2 = 0.190 0.190
3 = 0.182 0.076
4 = 0.167 0.120
The voltage creeps up the longer the ignition is on to about 0.250 V after 30 secs
All injectors are 0.0 to 0.2 ohm
Oddly the fault says voltage too high, is there anything I am missing.
thanks

do you have access to an engine loom wiring diagram?

Re: codes P1366, P1367, P1351
sorted the Injectors, checked the harness wiring, replaced ECM with a cloned doner, checked the fault codes, now it is saying the NO2 sensor is faulty, do you have any idea where the sensor is?

You don't have one on this vehicle it's not fitted with an SCR system. So not sure which diagnostic tool you are using....

Re: codes P1366, P1367, P1351
Any clues
measured the voltage at Injector connector supply at plug..... voltmeter crocodile clip to either supply wire and 1 clip to earth, zero voltage was measured both wires
Measured continuity of both wires injector plug to interface pins at ECU both showed continuity, as said replaced the ECU with a scrap one which was cloned to the original one
Replaced fuse box with latest version 3 years ago
All fuses are good.
cheers

Re: codes P1366, P1367, P1351
Paid a technician with professional code reader, he said that the P codes are a symptom of fuel starvation, took pressure pipe off an injector turned over engine..... no fuel
looked at the cam through oil filler it was turning. assume timing belt is ok
flushed the low-pressure system, sucking it out of the small pipe, plenty of air, bulb went hard quickly, still wont start.
Can anyone tell me which pipe is the supply pipe as they rise from the chassis, also at the fuel filter which pipe physically exits the filter at the top?

Re: codes P1366, P1367, P1351
My 2008 Citroen 1.6 hdi C5 had an issue, long story but the quick question......changed the ECU for a cloned used, no good
I was told by a technician his magic box pointed to fuel delivery system. Changed filter, no good, sucked diesel through low press system connecting to return pipe till bubbles stopped, bulb went hard after a few squeezes, not starting
took high pressure pipe off the injector, turned engine, no diesel.
no fault codes with the pressure release valve, could the HP system be air locked because the cam is turning when engine being turned over or is it going to be the HP pump?
Thanks
