looks like a good collection of oily bits!
Welcome back to the interesting car that is the BX.
Trouble is, I need another car for use in France so I'll be after another estate (Petrol one this time!)

Visa GTI 16v in response to your steering rack question, to remove BX rack you need to remove track rod ends, ram and pipes then wangle the bits out, hours of fun for all the family;)
