Well, I fitted the injector today. Once you know, it is no great problem. Everything is straight forward. This injector for the DV6C (FC) (111PS) has only the copper washer and the plastic collar. The collar is just to keep the injector centrally seated. The new leak off pipe fitted straight on. I did change the small green O rings from the kit I bought for the wrong engine. (and the clamp, of course!)
The car started and ran, albeit a bit rough, but that is what I was told it would do by the AA man. The difference between the AA man and everyone on this forum is, the AA man said drive it for a few miles and the ECU will sort itself out, where as everyone on here says it will need programming. Comments please!
I have a small Ancel BD310 OBD2 scanner. Does anyone know if this can re program the injector, or do I need a trip to a garage?
For either, which is the number required? (I have both injector's numbers)
Cheers John.

Definitelly need programming... programming is a strong word. It is just basic reset via diagnostic tool (with Lexia), to tell computer, you installed new injector and it should learn new values. The car will not recognize new injector otherwise.
