Given that timescale, I wonder if Citroen will allow you to take it to someone that's not an authorised dealer ("a Citroen authorised repairer")?
Could ring them and ask?
Looking in the service history for my C5 X7, I can see that lots of work was done under Citroen warranty by BL Auto - an independent Citroen specialist, not a Citroen dealer.
Looking around there's a mobile Citroen specialist in Kent (so would come to you).
I don't know them (and can't open the page fully since I don't have a facebook account) but here:

Ref wheeler's suggestion of BSI reset, I don't know if there's a specific one for the C4 that's different, but here's a video of how to do the general BSI reset:
(nb: That guy unbolts the negative terminal at the battery, when they could instead just lift the latch on the positive terminal and list that off without any tools needed)

Thank you Iain, not sure if different on an auto for a BSI reset. Citroen customer service have escalated and said that’s too long to wait. But I don’t think anything will change.
Someone said RAC. I’d assume they would have fuses galore?

Looking in passenger dash it looks like I need to remove the housing? But what do I need to unscrew? No screw driver or Allen key seems to fit

Re: Car won’t display anything
You need a torx bit to fit that screw, they come in different sizes so best to get a set since your car will have quite a few on it in different places.

RAC is who Citroen use to provide their first year free roadside assistance (so I'm sure if they really wanted to help, they could send them out to you?!).

They won’t give me a courtesy car as I’m not prepared to drive 21 miles with no speedometer.

Fixed!
Disconnected the battery. Left it for 15 minutes. Reconnected. I feel very stupid for not doing that first but I also feel glad I now know how poor the customer service is with the dealerships. Really puts me off using them.
