Help - I need a sump urgently

Hi,
I would suggest just cleaning up the hole so there is no oil nearby then force some epoxy steel putty in the hole leave overnight to set good and hard and you can forget it should never give you a problem again. Buy another sump from scrappy at your leisure - price of Xantias these days can get a whole car for the price of a sump 2 years ago.

Thanks to everyone who has replied, you've been a great help.
I have cleaned round the hole, put in a 4mm rivet, then put leak fix over the top of that. The area behind the curve of the sump on the side also looks a little rusty, although it is not holed, so I have put leak fix on that too. What excellent stuff!
Fingers crossed, three hours later there is no sign of a leak. I will go for a test run tomorrow!
