20 hours to departure for the trip and the weather forecast is suggesting we are in for a wet week!! I just have to decide whether to bring the MX3, the Subaru or the Wayfarer Dinghy which has been occupying a corner in the man cave since the Titanic sunk!! Regardless of that I'm looking forward to getting going in the morning!! Morpeth here we come!! :-D

The sun always shines in Northumberland! (at some point in each month) Bon Voyage :-D
Both Barter Books and The White Swan had a roof last time I checked should there be a small bit of refreshing rain :-D

Have I missed the vehicle of choice for the trip?

I guess not AX, nor MX3, the C4 went so is it the Subaru, Mick? (Ah, I forgot about Polly)

None of mine Matt :) I'm incapable of driving such distances into unknown territory ;)

Cumbria's Lake District ain't that far from us, don't get a region like that without a fairly robust way of topping them up!

We had a good run up to Morpeth with autumn mists, breakfast cafe, lovely bridge, a country traffic jam and some great cloud formations!!: :-D

Another tremendous day was enjoyed immensely but for me it was cut short by my lack of sleep the previous night caused by acid indigestion due to eating too late!!
As a result I'll leave further description to Jim but here are some pics to give you an idea. :-D
