Re: The September Shuffle
20 hours to departure for the trip and the weather forecast is suggesting we are in for a wet week!! I just have to decide whether to bring the MX3, the Subaru or the Wayfarer Dinghy which has been occupying a corner in the man cave since the Titanic sunk!! Regardless of that I'm looking forward to getting going in the morning!! Morpeth here we come!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

The sun always shines in Northumberland! (at some point in each month) Bon Voyage
Both Barter Books and The White Swan had a roof last time I checked should there be a small bit of refreshing rain

Have I missed the vehicle of choice for the trip?
I guess not AX, nor MX3, the C4 went so is it the Subaru, Mick? (Ah, I forgot about Polly)

You really need one of these...

Cumbria's Lake District ain't that far from us, don't get a region like that without a fairly robust way of topping them up!

Re: The September Shuffle
We had a good run up to Morpeth with autumn mists, breakfast cafe, lovely bridge, a country traffic jam and some great cloud formations!!:
Once we checked in I was pretty happy with the room considering it only cost £50 including breakfast!!

Re: The September Shuffle
Another tremendous day was enjoyed immensely but for me it was cut short by my lack of sleep the previous night caused by acid indigestion due to eating too late!!
As a result I'll leave further description to Jim but here are some pics to give you an idea.
