Short update
Left my car there for second attempt yesterday, today I picked it up and it is still not fixed.
They need to replace an ecu.
They don’t know when it will be delivered to them, when it arrives there they will call me to bring back the car…
FW version is still the same, they weren’t able to update it either….
Let’s see if the replacement of the ecu will fix this. I will let you know if u are interested in the further procedures…

Re: C4 2023 does not update
Hi, here is an update: They installed the new ecu for the infotainment system on Monday, it has a new firmware on it and they told me everything should be fixed by this.
What I noticed so far is that I can now see the navigation instruction on the HUD when I use Apple Maps via CarPlay. It still not working with the stock navigation system and google maps. Also I noticed that my Parking cameras on front and back sometimes are not working, what makes me really mad because it worked perfectly before… I hope the main problem is fixed, so the displays and systems won’t turn off randomly while driving or starting the engine…. I’ll keep you updated when any more problems occur or not.

Good news on that front, but if you're still having issues with other systems like the parking assistance, then take it back - something is still not correct and you need to make use of the warranty while you have it.

Re: C4 2023 does not update
My car C4 PureTech 130 EAT8 Shine (production date August 2023) was registered in January 2024 and has the new infotainment system (aka IVI). I have received one and only OTA update after my first drive on the first day (update time was 1 minute) and haven't received another one since. I'm looking for people who also have the new system and the same problem. I've spoken to my dealership where I lease the car and they can't help me. They are telling me that they can't update this new system manually. I have noticed in the forum that some dealerships can do the updates somehow. And I also read that other drivers received the updates in the meanwhile. I have AHW.1.23.44.4 installed. I also have Connect One subscription active which is responsible for getting the updates according to the Citroen Germany website. I have also connected my car to the hotspot on my phone many times and still nothing came. Only the navigation map updates are being download when my car is connected to the external Wi-Fi (to the hotspot on my phone).
I have got the information from everyone else that they already have at least AHW.1.25.97.10. There was also a fresh response with AHW.1.25.98.11.
I have the same problem as thread poster that with this old firmware the HUD does not work properly and sometimes all the displays are off, but then the systems reboots by itself or you need to restart the motor. I brought the car many times to my dealership after one of the problems occured, but they can't see any error.
Who has an experience of updating the car system at the dealership?
Looking forward to your replies!

Re: C4 2023 does not update
It's known that there are issues with early IVI systems - that can affect the operability of systems on the car. OTA updates don't work, so your dealer needs to contact tech support in France (which they should have access to if they are a franchised / main Citroen dealer). They will advise them on how to update the system to get it passed the troublesome firmware and get it updated so that it can self-update from then on. Not all dealerships are clued up on this stuff as it's quite new tech still.
