Looks like the matrix on the sinker is now "seeping"
I am getting misting on the inside of the screen as it warms up & a slight whiff of coolant.

Carpet is still dry and the misting goes after about 2 mins of fan at high power. I thus suspect it is just a few drips at the moment as the misting is very slight and at the bottom of the screen mostly.....more misting on the left side than the right.

I just knew this was coming............but can it last a couple of months ?

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

   It may if you very soon dose the system with a dash of Forte Stop Leak. It did the trick on my erstwhile 2.1TD until I could do the job...

Mine was a lot worse than yours is currently.

Nothing much on the car front at the moment other than the ACTIVA being relocated into the "dirty side" of the workshop ready for it to go up on axle stands and have all her Spheres removed (for a mass recharge), the small rear leak-back "drip" fixed and a drive shaft boot replaced due to a tiny split.

Other than that the local road-works guys visited yesterday to makes thing WORSE !

They have managed to create a 18cm deep drop-off edge "trench" with a nice jagged edge....the rest of it is 4/6cm of soft tarmac on top of mud and loose stone and they are 30cm short of where the road edge should be/was !

.....I give it 1 week before it is back to how it was but with the added bonus tyre sidewall shredding sharp edge.

Quality work :)
100% it will get worse as soon as it rains and the water that runs down the hill washes it out deeper.

A 'repair' like that is nothing more than a waste of good tarmac  That such a job could be done by anyone without question really does beggar belief...

Surely there's some quality control for such work? If not, why not? That is just a waste of time and money...

The instruction they were working from merely stated to tarmac the road..... it didn't say anything about building up the verge - that'd be a different contractor and a separate job #-o
