Hand brake holds on my sloping drive ......which is nice..

Quite a struggle really.......strut boots (old & hard) coming off at the top all the time. They are a smaller diameter than all other Xantia's and as yet I have not found any. It would also need new struts and strut tops to use the "newer" type.
Hand Brake cable (from crapline) was to short for an early sinker (it seems/right side) so that had to be modified by removing the lock nut on the h-brake cable (gives 5/6mm more length) allowing it to release.

I took heed of Jim's comments (near vomiting) about the interior of this car....so I took an hour this morning to wipe down the plastics/dash/steering wheel/door cards in the front of the car--.....

Ummmmm, that is rather unpleasant to look at :) ............. Human gravy

I hate to think what the water will look like when I get the carpet cleaner out and "Vac-Wash" the seats/floors etc

Ohh my good gawd  I think you need to get in touch with Porton Down Alasdair...

That stuff is possibly more efficacious than Novichok...

Just don't take it to Salisbury ;)

And put the relevant authorities on full alert...

Be careful, you could cause the area around you to be uninhabitable for decades...
