Unknown symbol on dashboard.

Post by maximus2 »

Hi.
C5 aircross 2021, 1.5 hdi.
Whilst driving, usually on dual carriageway, motorway. A symbol pops up, in both displays. It appears to show road, with 2 bridges? and flanking the road either side are what appears to be two radio waves symbols. It's not been possible to find symbol online . It must be something to do with lane guidance,Speed cameras, or the blind spot awareness.
Unable to find way of sharing image ATM.
Thank you

I don't know that one but I would guess it's a distance warning indicator telling you that you're too close to the vehicle in front or some other obstacle.

Yes, there are is Lane keeping assistance - and vehicle distance control - some also have different variations of systems (camera only, camera & radar) and similarly with active lane keeping - so the side blind spot sensors monitor the left and right hand sides and your camera / radar for distance control and lane keeping. So probably that, although the images you have are not those shown in the manuals for the year, so I'd ask your dealership next time you are passing and show them the image.

Lane assist is the closest I have found and have looked at many.
It may be among this lot but haven't had time to watch it.

And it is American :(

Yes seen that one, don't think it's on it.
Searched so many places, just can't find it!
