DS5 Faults - P1005, P2685
Hi, have a 'check engine', diagnosed it and there were 2 fault codes and I couldn't reset them, may someone write their meaning please.

You understand that you can't clear faults if the underlying problem is still present? You need to investigate the fault first, so to do that you will first need to provide your VIN. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff. I'll take a look once I know your specific vehicle details and systems.

The are 2 possible versions of Engine ECU that you may have - either MEVD17.4 or MEDV17.4.2

Description of Fault: | Variable valve lift position sensor signal: Short-circuit to the battery plus or open circuit. Variable valve lift position sensor: Open circuit or short circuit to Battery positive. Conditions of activation of the diagnostics - Engine management ECU in main triggering phase - Detection after triggering |
