Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Hello, I have a problem updating the display on the Citroen C4 Picasso II Intensive 2017/18 . I tried to delete the previous owner's profile and it returned to a very old configuration and it keeps restarting every 2 minutes. I'll post a picture. vin:VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] If you can help me with the new updates, thank you.

Re: System update DS9
HI
I got mine for ds7, my friend had it for 3008 p84 and I wouldn't recommend to download. Right now in both cars everything is loading slow. Some bug in ds7 while you reverse a sound of obstacle won't go off. For a while I was trying switch on/off car for couple times, and sound of radar detection come back. I put a reverse and switched off engine and it helped. Switching thru options is very slow. I am guessing that ds9 will get the same slow update

According to the information you have provided, your firmware version belongs to 2017.Staino wrote: 15 Nov 2024, 10:47 Hello, I have a problem updating the display on the Citroen C4 Picasso II Intensive 2017/18 . Moreover, the map is almost the first version.
My personal opinion, read the subject title thoroughly.
Moderators will also help.
Good luck.

Re: System update DS9
I've moved your Post to the correct Forum for NAC updates:DS9 wrote: 14 Nov 2024, 10:22 Hi
Just looked and it appears I have a system update. Software of the touch screen (44.07.33.32_NAC-r0). Doing a web search and browsing around a few forums it says it's for bug fixes and removes the horrible yellow colour for maps, changing it to green. Just wondered if there are any accompanying release notes?
Also I see Cartography (17.0.0-r0) is one there too.
I'll do both in due course.
Your DS9 Doesn't have on-board WiFi, but does have a telematic unit - so it may still require the unique licence file (included below), but please read instructions in link for how to use this and for the correct folder name and spelling.
Firmware 44.07.33.32_NAC-r0
DS9 Licence File
Instructions for Updating NAC or RCC Firmware, Maps & Licences
Map Version 17

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Hi all,
Thanks for this Forum and all the tiem you spent in it helping other persons
Since last week I am trying to update my C4 Gran SpaceTourer software with the two last updates, Yesterday I was able to update the Navegator Maps
But I have still the error with the system update "Hardware not compatible"
I am trying to install the last update: 21.08.90.52_NAC_r0, I tried with several USBs with the citroen app and extracting directly the file available in this forum, sharing internet via IOS bluetooth and via Wifi conection... but always the same error
Maybe if someone could sendme the licensekey I could check again.
My VIN is : VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Thanks a lot

Map Update for C4X
Hello Everyone,
I just bought Citroen C4X 2024 Shine and I realized that the map is not up to date,
Where I live OTA is not available, unfortunately,
The car can not connect to the internet and wifi also not available for connecting to any router, it is restricted by the Government because Citroen does not provide the certain conditions required by law,
As a result, the car does not have internet, and OTA not working,
Without going to the dealer how can I update the map? is there any way to bypass the Wi-Fi issue?
Vin; VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Thank you

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Sorry, no, it will likely require a dealer update as the files are provided OTA and without this you won't have the files. Also be aware that some of these udpates can leave the system inoperable! So another reason to let the dealer deal with it on these vehicles.

Is everybody just ignoring the wave2 updates now? How can manufacturers still be providing updates when they clearly don’t work.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
We're currently on the Wave 4 hardware version of these units which will be the last of them. The Wave 2 has no issues at present that I'm aware of and once they deem the system stable, firmware updates are no longer released. All bugs to my knowledge have been sorted, the last update being released in October 2022. I've certainly not had any issues with the system.

My 2018 wave2 is on its original software (as far as I can tell) and it won’t let me update to the latest software. I just get incompatible hardware.GiveMeABreak wrote: 19 Nov 2024, 20:54 We're currently on the Wave 4 hardware version of these units which will be the last of them. Ok, so I've got Fibre outages here, so have been offline for most of the week and missed your original post.
So the current issue (as at November 2024) with Wave 2 systems firmware updates is down to the certificates which have expired. PSA have not updated the certificates and therefore this is making any Wave 2 firmware updates impossible at the moment. We do not know if they will renew the certificates, given the age of the Wave 2 units
The firmware certificates are digitally signed and when these expire the Head Unit will no longer accept them as valid and refuse to install them. The certificate for the latest firmware is Nov 3 14:38:04 2024 GMT.
We understand this also happened some years ago with the earlier firmware when the certificates expired, but they released a new one and digitally signed them, but looks like this has happened again. Whether they will or not given the age of the Wave 2, I can't say....
Note: This does not affect maps, and there is a new V28 map being tested at present, due for imminent release.
So focus on your map updates and leave the firmware at present. I guess this is what can happen with these systems if regular updates are not installed until years later after release (I appreciate some original owners don't bother with this, then a new owner buys the car and then can't update it).

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
No good copying an obfuscated VIN - you are only copying the mask! You will need to type the actual VIN out for me to see it, before I can advise. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.Staino wrote: 20 Nov 2024, 02:05 @GiveMeABreak hello, I have a problem updating the display on the Citroen C4 Picasso II Intensive 2017/18 . @Staino
Ok, so you have the Wave 2 system - please refer to the paragraph in red 3 posts above ^. You won't be able to update firmware for the reason stated at present, only maps.
You can try using the links, but if it doesn't you'll know why:
Firmware 21.08.90.52_NAC-r0
Staino Licence File
