You don't need a licence file, as your vehicle has WiFi, so will authorise the update for you, as long as the engine is kept running for the update (which it should be anyway), so allow the vehicle to load all the modules before starting the update, to ensure the WiFi connection is made and you are doing this in an area that won't block reception. I've included it below in case you have issues, see other posts about how to use the licence file.

This is my first post, so hello everyone! I am having no luck downloading an update for our new Citroen E-Berlingo VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] which I reset back to factory settings. Apparently the update we need is Touch Screen (6_0422_23.3137.1) but it will not download through the Citroen Update App. Thanks for any help in advance...

After downloading the firmware, saving it to your PC, then extracting the firmware onto a FAT32 formatted USB key, you need to additionally create a folder in the route of the USB called 'licence' and copy the licence file into it.

Thanks, I tried 2 flashdisks 16gb, none of them worked, i have even tried creating different folders for the file you shared, Licence folder, License folder none of them worked. It's such a pain to update, maybe the license file is wrong for my car.
But anyways, my main problem was that android auto had stopped working some time ago. Today I tried a factory reset on the peugeot touchscreen and luckily android auto started to work again. I'll just reconfigure my settings now.

Licence file is correct - they are individual.

Upload a screen shot (use the full post editor to upload directly to the forum) of the USB showing all the content for me so I can determine if everything is there. I've supplied loads of these to others with the same type of system you have, so must be a local issue.

As I replaced broken RCC, the license key is no more valid.
I think new serial number is different from that of original RCC which registered in Peugeot server.
How can I fix this problem? Old dealers and new stellantis guys have no ideas.
If you give me a license file, will it work?

The licence file is specific and unique to each vehicle.

The only way to get a working licence file is to provide me with the VIN of the vehicle that the RCC Head Unit came from.
