Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Greetings Citroen community.
I wonder if anybody is able to advise please regarding a map update problem that I'm having on my Citroen C3 which I purchased a week ago. It's a 2023 edition. This is my first Citroen.
I first downloaded the 'citroen_update_setup_0.1.24' file, and ran this as an admin.
I entered my VIN which is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff], then 'selected' my vehicle which showed that there was a new map available (catography (27.0.0-r0) and I then chose 'download' which downloaded the 9.53Gb file.
I then chose 'continue' and entered a 64GB USB (formatted as FAT32) then 'OK'
It then reports 'preparing the flash drive' (I ticked the 'Yes I understand' checkbox). Nothing else happens and the 'Continue' button just stays greyed out. I left it for 4 hours and no change.
I've tried on two different Windows 11 computers. I've also tried fomatting the USB with a partition manager in various formats (Ex-FAT, NTFS, FAT32) and have also tried 16GB and 64GB (USB3.2) sticks, but nothing makes any difference. It just never gets past the 'preparing' screen.
Any advice would be most gratefully received.
Thanks and Regards,
Ian.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
I've moved your post to the main NAC update thread.
Here's the map for you - forget the Citroen App, it's totally useless.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Hi, sorry, this Forum is only for NAC / RCC systems. Your C4 Spacetourer has a SMEG system, not supported by me and the map updates are chargeable by PSA for this.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
I can't help you as this is an IVI system.
However, you need to contact your dealer as there is an after-market campaign that requires the Head Unit software to be updated - that only they can do. This may be the issue you are having.
The reference is MF3:

Dear Citroen usersGiveMeABreak wrote: 09 Dec 2022, 09:25 So are you 100% sure you have a good WiFi signal where you are (3G or 4G, not 5G)? Try driving somewhere else if the coverage is weak or intermittent where you are. This is the biggest cause of update failure and make sure your vehicle WiFi is on.
i have recently bought a citroen c3 2017, and i downloaded the citroen app and tried to download the update file, but it doesnt want to download on my pc, it says that i have to check my connection, and the connection works.
Could you send me the latest update file for my car. In the app it says this is available: 1_076_16.1B116.4. Is that the latest one for my car? And what are the changes with the update? Hopefuly wont lose my android auto

My VIN is: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Also would like to know if i have traffic sign recognition in my car, as on my dash it shows max in a circle but i dont see any other changes.
Thank you for all the help
