PSA NAC RCC Updates

Recently I bought 2017 Citroen Grand C4 Picasso. Previous owner never did any update so car came with version 21.05.90.42_NAC-r0. Tried Citroen Update and My Citroen apps, updated maps to 27.0.0-r0 but it never gave me any option to update NAC, keep showing No update available. Can you please help me update to latest version, the VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Thank you mate. Tried to update but without success. Connected to internet, used two different USB drives but results are always the same - not compatible with hardware. Don't know whas else to do except try it the old fashion way, is it possible to provide me Licence file for my VIN?

Sorry I can't - there is no licence showing up and as these are unique to the vehicle and firmware.

I can't help with this as technically it is showing as no update available with the current firmware you have (21.05.90.42_NAC-r0) as being the latest. So maybe with the system (hardware) you have being an earlier type, it may be limited to this firmware only. If everything is working, don't worry, leave it alone as you have map updates.

I updated the firmware of my Peugeot 508 2019 using the Peugeot tool and it currently has the firmware version 42.03.33.42_nac-r0, and right after I also downloaded version 16.0.0-r0 of the map using the same peugeot tool, however the map update failed immediately after starting and now displays an error saying that the map does not exist or is being updated.

When connecting the USB stick it recognizes the map version, and allows me to select to start the installation but then it fails.

I then tried to download the firmware version 44.07.05.22_NAC-r0 to try then to update the map to version 16 but I received an error that this firmware version is not compatible with the hardware and I think it is an error related to the license, would it be possible for you to share the license file for this version with me?

Or would you have any suggestions on what I can do to get the map working again?

According to the info I have that is the latest update for your system. It is not proving a further update and therefore it is not generating a licence file, so I can't provide you with a licence as they are unique for each vehicle AND firmware version.

As far as the map goes try and redownload it using the link here:

Make sure you have a large enough USB and that it is FAT32 formatted each time:

Thank you, I'll try again, I've already downloaded it via the Peugeot app and directly via the tomtom link and both failed, I'll try download it through this link again and use a new USB stick later and let u know.

Regarding the firmware, that's I can keep this one, the most important is to get the maps working again, I mentioned the firmware update because I saw in the list of versions for the NAC Wave 4 that there are newer versions than the one I have, but it really could be that they are for newer hardware only.

You don't have a Navigation system, so no, can't supply maps! You have an RCC Connected Colour Radio only.
