Hello!
Can you do it for Opel Combo Life 2019 (also from Stellantis Factory)?

I downloaded and tried to install this version 1_076_161B116.4 on my car and I am stuck.

@Nesdes:

Here's the Firmware for you. You will have to re-use your licence file as I don't have this (as long as the licence is for the same firmware - as I think these change with each firmware update).

Hi there,

Is there a reason why not? Because the system is a PSA system and you are my only hope for a licence key at this moment.
Ik hope you will at least try

Thank you

Hi

I don't say things for the fun of it.

I personally cannot help you because my systems only provide the data for PSA VIN numbers linked to PSA vehicles. Although Vauxhall / Opel are part of Stellantis, the method of providing parts and data which includes firmware and mapping updates is still marque dependent and my systems will not accept Vauxhall / Opel VINs. This is why and yes, of course I have already tried. I'm very sorry but there's nothing I can do for you.

Have you not already got a licence file from before - when you last updated it?

If you have the USB that you used previously, then the licence file should be there.

Okay I understand. Thanks for your try.
Apparently I do not have the key (anymore) and failed a update at the very end of the process. A rolling back was/is not possible. Maybe I do.something wrong but I cannot find a key anymore

Ok, so the original licence for the SAME firmware would still work if you had it.

The only thing I can think of now is that if you tether your smart phone's WiFi connection to the car using USB cable, then this is how the vehicle can authenticate and obtain the licence file. You would need to do this first, make sure you have a good connection and then try the firmware update again if you still have the firmware file.

Last thing is to contact your dealer and tell them it's stuck after a failed update and you can no longer get the licence or the firmware (a stupid system where it deletes it after you have downloaded it, I know).

Regarding the vehicle above, you should also be aware there is an urgent safety update needed since 2022! I suggest you contact Citroen to get it booked in under the following reference: HLX

Details:
HLX - Timing belt

Vehicle reliability and your safety are a major concern for CITROEN. As such, the manufacturer has asked us to update the software on your vehicle, in order to improve braking assistance system diagnostics, and prevent any risk of reduction or loss of braking assistance. We will also check your vehicle's braking assistance system components, which could be damaged by deterioration of the timing belt.
Your vehicle has the wet belt system and needs an urgent check and update, so I wouldn't wait. The work will be free of charge.

Regarding the NAC firmware you are on the older Wave 3 system, so you can't just upgrade to the latest Wave 4 without the 'Bridging Firmware' version being applied first.

First install 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0

Next install:

42.03.33.42_NAC-r0

This should update to Wave 4, then you can install the latest:

44.07.05.22_NAC-r0

In all cases this is the licence file:

Licence File
Hi Marc.

Somehow Citroen Update software started to work and I was able to complete full cycle of downlading the new firmware + license and creating a flash drive, brand new flash drive. Citroen Update downloaded version 42.03.33.42_NAC-r0 and put it on the flash drive. The update attempt was unsuccessful with the same error: incompatible hardware. I also tried to run update with 31-09-46-62_NAC-r0 and license file from Citroen Update, but the reuslt was the same. Since hardwrae incompatibility error supposed to be related to the licence file, I have found that the file made by Citroen Update software is completely different from the one you send me: the extension is .key not .xml, and content is also different (see the attachment please). I tried to change the extension to .key for the file you shared and run 31-09-46-62_NAC-r0 update one more time, but it still hardware incompatibility error. I just wonder, may be you know why license files are different and may be you have other thoughts you can share regards this situation except BSI reset or a visit to a dealer :).
Thanks in advance.

Ok so the licence files are specific to the firmware, so will vary from each version you are trying to install.

As present I can't get any update over the 30.05.50.42_NAC-r0 version that you already have. This tends to happen once the newer firmware has been downloaded by the owner - so I'm careful to only provide the link for you without instigating the actual download, so that when you come to use the link it still provides the file.

At this stage I think you'll have to go to the dealer (like hundreds of other people in the same boat) and get them to sort it out. This is a common problem and either PSA or the Tom Tom servers are utterly crap at present - which is why there has been so many requests on this thread because nobody can update their systems using the App.

Nothing else I can do here I'm afraid, because as said, once you have downloaded the files they are not shown again.
