Are you sure it is 7.1.3 and not 7.3.1-r1 or 7.2.1-r3?

Apart from that, you have 3 outstanding after-sales campaigns showing up from 2020. I take it you don't have your vehicle dealer-serviced.... as these would of been picked up 4 years ago.

1) HBK - Fuel pipes

Our manufacturer asks us to check and repair if necessary, on your vehicle, the fuel tubes under body that may present potential risks of leakage.
2) HAN - Brake tubes

Our manufacturer asks us to check and repair if necessary, on your vehicle the brake tubes under body that may present potential risks of leakage. The braking performance may be reduced by the brake liquid leakage.
3) GRS - Wiring harness

The operation involves rectifying the rear wheels speed sensors wiring harness.

I suggest you get the van booked in as soon as possible. All work will be free and at the same time you can ask them to update your unit as I have contradictory data from this vehicle. It's stating no sat nav and an RCC system (colour radio only), but is offering something else, so I can't help with this. It may also be the reason why it is not allowing you to update it. If the system has been changed that will be why.....

Thank you for your quick response,
Please see attached image, this is the current software stated.

I've recently purchased the van and I've not received a service log with it so I can't be sure if these have been done.

I will get it booked in ASAP

Thank you for your time

Ok, so all I'm saying is that officially these campaigns are still outstanding - as once they have been done they are removed from the database.

Regarding the unit itself, this is the anomaly, as Citroen's factory build sheet for this VIN is stating that there is No satellite Navigation system, yet your head unit above is stating there is a mapping version there.... hence the conflict.

NAC units have Sat Nav with colour Touchscreen
RCC Colour Radio with Touchscreen do not.

Hopefully they can explain this when you get the other work done.

Hi, I wrote from Italy and for now I have not been able to update the touchscreen firmware of my 208 with Peugeot update. Try to create the USB key but it always stops at 54% during installation. Can there be a license problem? I downloaded the file PSA_rcc-firmware_6_0422_23-3I37-1_RCC_EU_W3_ECO.tar and have been asked to obtain a license to do another test. The original VIN is VR3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. Thank you in advance

@sandro64:

Yes you need a licence file, but that will not stop your installation.
  • You have either a corrupt file, or the USB media is bad.
  • Reformat the USB to FAT32 (no other file system will work).
  • Follow the guidance for creating the folders correctly at the bottom in red.

Hello! I have recently owned the C4 Picasso. I decided to update the software and cards. On the Citroen website showed me that there are new cards and software for my car. I downloaded the Citroen Update app and installed it. I downloaded the updates and the program uploaded them to the flash drive. I went on the road and decided to update the software and cards. I went and put on the flash drive and the renovation began. After a long time, it was inscribed that the renovation was successful and removed the flash drive. The system is restarted and the inscription "Software Loading on Demand, Warning: System Has Limited Functionality". I waited a lot of time, but nothing. I read on the forums that this is getting better by trying to renew it again. I tried the fairy tale but the same effect. I took another flash drive, formatted it FAT32 I downloaded from one link from one forum the same file. But there is no difference. I'm asking for help. The file I used was "PSA_OVIP-INT-Firmware-Version_21-08-87-32_NAC-R1_Eur_wave2". I used the license key that generated me Citroen Update. I wanted to download the software again via Citroen Update, but it doesn't allow me. I can only download the cards. I try from another computer because the one I downloaded the first updates is not with me. I also give VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

I did everything on the instructions, but there is no result. The renovation lasted 25 minutes. What should I do now.

You may have a faulty USB stick.

Try with another FAT32 formatted memory stick and try again.

I tried a second flash drive, but the result is the same. I noticed that when the renovation started and after a short screen it turned black. After about half a minute, the blue screen appears again and the process continues, but the progress line is about 15%.

The only thing I can suggest is:

1) Make sure you are not using the unit during the firmware update - do not operate any controls or buttons either on the head unit, screen or int he vehicle like electric windows etc.
2) Make sure the engine is running always during the update
3) You may have an incomplete / corrupt firmware download - try again using the link provided.
4) Only copy the extracted files to the USB (do not include any other files including the compressed file)

If you have a large enough USB stick, that is correctly formatted, you may have a faulty unit. The last thing I can suggest is to try a BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure.

This can sometimes clear problems with the head unit.

If that fails, try resetting the head unit to factory defaults.

I will try to download the files again. Before I start upgrading, I open the windows and the driver's door is open. I start the engine wait a little and put the flash drive in the socket. As long as it is updated, I do not touch anything. There are only three files in the root of the flash drive. One flash drive is 16GB and the other is 32GB. At both flash drives the process lasts about 25 minutes. I read your post that it should be about 40 min

Yes it varies, but it's not finishing the process in your case, which is why it's less time.

I can't suggest anything else, apart from a factory reset and the BSI reset procedure. If it fails after this, then you may have faulty internal storage memory in the head unit or something else going on.
