Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Ji Jose.
I'm not getting any licence file from your VIN, only the maps and the firmware. According to your VIN there is nothing to say you have WiFi on board (in which case you wouldn't need a licence file as it would check and authorise the firmware update over the air).
So I can't supply you with a licence file as it is not giving one. You do have an independent Telematic Unit, so assuming this is not deactivated, and you are in an area of general good reception in the open air, you should be able to install your firmware.

Thank you for the reply
The update dont even start anymore, screen stuck on "software loading on demand"
Maybe disconnect battery for some times and try again?

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Just bear in mind it can take 40+ minutes to install! So you must keep the engine running and don't operate any equipment whilst undertaking the update.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Hi All
I have a C5 Aircross 2021 Vin. VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
I have the Citroen app, It said there was 2 updates, Map and operating system. I have downloaded and followed instructions and put on a USB drive.
Then I read some of the problems people have been having with updates and unsure if this is going to cause my problems.
Also is it possible to get the original build sheet and a list of any recalls needed
Thanx in advance
Steve

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Steve - Moved to the NAC RCC Updates Forum.
There are issues at present with users being able to update, hence this forum.
You have on-board WiFi, so should have no need of the licence file, just make sure the vehicle is switched on for a few minutes before attempting the update to give the modules enough time to load up and for signal to come through the telematics unit.
Allow anywhere up to 40 minutes per update. Start with Firmware, then re-format the USB before preparing the map update. Please read the guide below in the third link.
Firmware 44.07.05.22_NAC-r0

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Thanks for that Marc, I think I might have to get it to a dealer, I understand some computer stuff but this bit is a bit alien to me.
3) Use compression / decompression utility like 7zip from 7zip.org to decompress the files only onto the USB you have just formatted. Make sure that you have not created the actual name of the compressed Tar on the USB.
I will give it some thought.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
It's quite easy to do, just needs patience and time Steve and a little computer knowledge of course.
What (3) means is that the firmware files from the server are compressed to decrease the size whilst being downloaded. You need a compression / decompression utility to then decompress the downloaded files. These then need to be moved onto the pre-formatted USB stick. In some cases, if not checked, the compression utility can create a folder of the same name of the compressed file. If it does this and the folder is then transferred to the USB, the vehicle head unit will not be able to do the firmware update. It expects only the correct firmware folder containing the files and the index file on the USB. Any 'user' created folders are therefore ignored, so the update can't go ahead. If that makes sense.
The dealer will do this for you, but of course will charge for this.

Thanks Marc, I will give it a try this week.
Is it possible to get the build sheet for my car, and any recalls it needs.
Thanx

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Ok, I downloaded the Firmware and unziped it, then transfered the entire download to a usb stick. there is about 5.5gb. Is this then plugged into my car usb?
A bit confusing as when I followed the app instructions it says to copy map and firmware at same time.
If I had a good dealer nearby I would take to them, I have no confidence in my local dealer and next nearest is 1 1/2 hours drive away.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Just ignore that and update the firmware first.
If you have a screenshot of the USB Route file contents, I can check to make sure it looks ok.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Yes, that's ok. As long as you have the SWL folder - and there should also be one other file in the route directory of the USB called updateInfo.xml:

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Hello ! I have the same problem. MyCitröen app says there is an update, but can't download. (6_0422_23.3I37.1)
I reached this forum looking for the exact number of the update. I tried downloading from the link that GiveMeABreak posted, formatted the usb device to FAT32 and extracted the files. Also copied the "key" file to the "License" folder.
But when i plug the usb to the car it says that the update is not valid.
I don't know if the license key is only for the VIN that Iconstab and Zeph posted.
Can you confirm that the update file and license key are valid for my vehicle? VIN : VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Thanks in advance!
