Lesson number one, never let anyone upload any software to your vehicle - it may brick the system. There's no guarantee you can fix it, but you may be able to apply the correct firmware again.

You'll need to provide your VIN and I may be able to provide the links so you can update it yourself.

Hello,
I have done the installation of the update. Seems to be installed fine till 100%, then the screen said that system will restart after the removal of the usb stick. I removed the stick, system restarted. I connected my phone again, and opened the mobile app, and it still shows the notification that I need the update. Is this normal!? Does it mean the update failed or something?

Ignore the App for now. Go into the system settings on your touchscreen and find out what the firmware version says. It should be:

6_0422_23.3I37.1

If not let me know what it says. It may be that the app will take some time to update once it starts communicating with the head unit.

Today I looked at the ctiroen app on my phone and I still have the update notification.
I checked and the car still has version 42... from 2021 and the phone shows that version 44.. is available.
I'll try to do it myself, but can I have a direct link please?

I would go back to your dealer and demand a refund for a job not done properly. Make sure you do it before you update it yourself of course!

Note: as your Aircross has on-board WiFi, you won't need the licence file, as the vehicle will authorise the firmware 'Over The Air'. I have included it below in case you are in an area of poor reception. I've also included the latest map version in case you need that.

Regarding the update the dealership did, I'd question what they actually updated, as the firmware below has been out since July 2023! So I'd be asking for a refund if that's what the update was for.... Also it may take while for your App to communicate with the vehicle to realise it has been updated. The app is bloody useless at the best of times.

Hi there, Ive just bought a 181 Citroen picasso grand and its saying on the app it needs an update for the in car computer and sat nav, when i have the update link sent it wont open

HKT - Wiring harness
The operation involves checking the routing of a wiring harness in the engine compartment and rectifying it if necessary.

I suggest you get it booked in - it will be free of charge - when you call the dealer, quote the reference HKT.

Ok, so you need to be aware that this is an 18 Gb download! Unless you have Elon Musk's Satellite speeds, it is going to take a while to download!
