Great, I'll bear this in mind that it seems to work with the American English spelling 'license' and not the British English version 'licence'.

Glad you both have it working now and thanks for the update.

In some early references / instructions from PSA they explicitly used the 'licence' version of the spelling, but those early documents are no longer available, so they probably realised the mistake.

Just a quick question in regards to the touch screen update I have just done.

Both the phone app and desktop app are still telling me there is an update out for the touch screen even though the car is now on the latest version, is there a way of connecting this update with the cars VIN so that is knows I'm running the latest 0422D update?

Sorry, not unless you download the update from the app which is not currently working, as your vehicle does not have onboard WiFi.

Just ignore it until the next update comes out.

No, not daft - you can take it to ANY Citroen dealer (but call to book it in first).

Good afternoon. I also encounter the exact same problem, I try to download the update using the Citroen Update app, but the error pops up and doesn't allow the file to be downloaded. I followed the guide provided at the beginning of the post step by step, but as far as I understand each VIN has its own license file.
I forward my VIN code below: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] The model is specifically a Citroen C3 Shine fulltech.

What are you after?
Firmware update? If so, VIN is required if it is a PSA model.

Android Auto and carplay
Reverse camera
GPS
and several other things.

I am trying to manual update it from ahw.1.25.92.23 to other version, do you know if I can make it work with Citroen Updater?

I can't help with updates from your country, sorry, as there is a different portal that I can't access.

For all purposes this is a European car in fact Chile isn't available when choosing a country when you start the setup.can you please check with the European portal?
