I'm new here, I'm from Egypt so please excuse my english if its not very good :)
I own a 2022 opel corsa F 1.2 130ps, equipped with RCC wave 3 head unit.
Current software version : 6_0422_23.3I37.1
Opel update app has recently showed that there is a new update, version : 6_0431_23.2I41.1
If there is any one who can post the update log for this version then it would be much appreciated, I mean what's new or what are the fixed bugs,
should I go ahead and update or if it works don't fix it ? :)
Thanks for considering.
They don't post change logs publicly as far as I know.
I've bit the bullet and upgraded to the new version and everything works as expected

Hi @GiveMeABreak,

Could you please provide the firmware and license for a C5 Aircross 2019?

Current firmware: 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0
VIN: VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

I guess I'm trying to update to 42.03.33.42_NAC-r0 (not sure if there's a newer version)

Thanks very much in advance ! :)

Hello @mirceboy,

I'm writing regarding the successful software update you performed on your Citroen C4 GP 2017 from version 21.04.62.54_NAC-r0 to version 21.08.90.52_NAC-r0. I'm having issues with my multimedia system - after attempting a software update via USB, the system won't start properly. Could you please share how you managed to perform the update successfully and what steps you followed? I'm currently waiting for a response from service support, but your experience would be very helpful.

Thank you in advance!

Hello. After long conversations with Peugeot Polska, I received the final information that I should change the "USB key" and if the problem persists, I should go to an authorized service center.

Please note, I've deleted your duplicate post in the other thread - as this is the place for this type of request.

You need the Bridging Firmware, but please see previous Posts concerning Wave 3 Update to Wave 4 systems.

Until the updates are re-signed by Citroen, you may not be able to update. Here are the files in any case:

Hi again GiveMeABreak,

Thanks for your quick reply and apologies for the duplicated post. I'm new to the forum and wasn't sure about where to post.
I'm not familiar with concepts like "bridging firmware" or "wave 3/4" but will take a look at the posts you mentioned and will try my best.

Thanks for your help!

Basically your vehicle was shipped with a 'Wave 3' Hardware version of the system. These are compatible with the later Wave 4 systems, but only after what we call a 'bridging firmware' is applied to make them compatible with the future Wave 4 system firmware and map updates.

The issue is that the firmware files are signed with a digital certificate that expires after a certain period - and because your system has not been updated in a timely manner whether by you or a previous owner, the firmware certificate on many of the older firmware files has expired and that is preventing systems in general from being updated.

Try the files above, but if you get the situation where it does not install because of an incompatible hardware error - then you need to contact your dealer and moan to them. Pressure fed back through the dealer network is the only way to get them to release updated versions with new certificates.

I have read all posts but I want a reminder, if is it possible.
I own a Cactus '19 with 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0. I am getting the "Version not compatible with the hardware" error and I reckon it's what you have mentioned so many times.
Should I try my luck with a bridging firmware? Which is this firmware, the latest from Citroen App?
Would you like me to send you my vin number to try or not worthing to try?
I have tried with Citroen Update but no luck.
Thank you.

The same will apply - you are currently on the last version of the Wave 3 Firmware, so you will need the bridging firmware to convert to Wave 4. I will need your VIN if you want to try. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

I tried the full update again, and this time it worked. It then proposed to do the maps update. That one failed. I restarted the engine, popped the USB back in, it still proposed the firmware update, I skipped, then I said YES when it proposed "Update map-eur present on the media inserted... Start installation?" I select the only available file "map-eur" and click Install. Then tells you to not switch off the ignition for a few seconds, but before I get any progress bar I get "Update map-eur has failed".
Not sure what else I can try
