Hi, thank you for the link, do you have anymore information on the Engine Management ECU software update as this is news to me? Is it 100% free? How is it effecting the vehicle?

Hi again and thanks for the link, I downloaded both the licence and RCC firmware from the links you provided, I extracted RCC Firmware zip file, there is a folder named rcc_update and another named UpdateInfo, I take it these two need to be on the root of the USB pen drive along with a folder named licence with the licence file inside, is this correct?

Or do I actually crate a folder named SWL and copy the content of the rcc_update folder into the SWL folder I created?

Ok, so on the root of the USB stick I now have two folders and one file named UpdateInfo, one of the folders is named licence that I placed the ATOJAR Licence file in and the other folder is named SWL, this folder contains twelve .bin files, one .cms file and one .xml file.

I hope this is correct.

Yes that's it.

No further details on the after sales campaign - it's when they detect an issue with some vehicles and have updated the software to account of this, so should be updated as soon as you can to prevent any issues. Yes it is free.

Awesome and thanks for your reply, I shall call my local dealership tomorrow in regards to the ECU software update, hopefully they dont try to charge me lol.

Thanks for the heads up on the ECU software update, I would have had no idea otherwise, I contacted my local Citroen dealer and they where super helpful, my car is booked in to get the free ECU software update early next month, Thanks again.

I will be updating the touch screen in the car over the next couple of days so I will repost back how it went. Thanks again.

You mean you have a blue screen? Where? On the instrument panel or the large touchscreen display?

You shouldn't have a bluescreen and if you have, take it back to the dealer as it will be under warranty. I doubt a firmware will fix this issue....

That means it is in the middle of an update already - so I would not interfere with it or switch the vehicle off during the update!

There is no pendrive in the usb socket. Its stuck like this from 3weeks lol.

I went to the car, and put the usb stick and it says:
FIRMWARE UPDATE

Firmware update failed
Version not compatibile with hardware
Please remove the USB stick!

System has limited functionality

And ideas ? Thanks.
