We have one nearby. Daughter and then grandson used to work next to it where it empties into the Tyne, granddaughter lives next to it in student accommodation while she is at uni.

C3 has been doing great, yesterday however on the first start up of the day , the low oil pressure warning popped up on the dash but just as fast as it did it went . But it may of been my fault as i was in a rush moving the cars to get the cc out for the day, i quick started the picasso & i think i drove it in reverse before engine sort of got up to normal running speed, stupid me. I will be using c3 tomo so i will report back.

Replacement of the lower Engine mount as undertaken by my local moblie mechanic for the payment of a large mug of tea & a chat to catch up on things thanks JC recoverys & moblie mechanics , 10 min job. On inspection the larger part of the mount was spilt 3 quaters of the way through plus considerble play in all directions , so pleased its all done. Think by what was on the part it looked very much original part , so was in need of replacement.

Ive noticed a small what could be described as a squeak that runs all the time till the clutch gets used , like a whitstle , or a hamster in a wheel that needs a drop of oil on the spindle .

Houston we have a problem.
Coolant bottle empty , fan on full last night , sweet smell of coolant when engine running all pointing to blown head gasket or is it ?

Before you dig into the head Husky, if there's no mayo in the oil or coolant then I'd suggest a careful check of the heater matrix for leaks first. Usually shows up as moisture in the passenger footwell. There, you can go and suck another egg now

Hi Mick well as far as i can tell alls ok in that department , Not sure if these photos will show up, oil clean too so i decided not to waste coolant & used water in the header tank while filling it took lots and i heard a trickle drip sound hitting the drive .

Not sure if any drips can be seen on these 2 photos but this is the area where the leak is ? Core plug ? I for the life of me cannot picture whats in this area for a leak to happen .

So theres no core plugs.
I seen the oil filter housing can leak , im thinking it would run onto part of the dpf as thats very close to it then run down the engine under part of the sump and basicly pee out everywhere till the level gets below this housing locations lowest point.
