Does anyone know how the throttle position sensor works on a Bosch diesel pump.
I know that it sits ontop of the throttle arm. It must be a rheostat. There are 3 wires to it. I assume there is a wire to each end of a resistor and then the middle wire is to the wiper. There must be a voltage applied across the resistor and the wiper moves depending on the throttle position to send a voltage back to the ecu.
Is it this simple. If so, then I think my device is b u g g e r e d.
What voltage does it work at and, what is the value of the resistor. Is it 3Kohm ish ?
