new height valve problems

new height valve fitted today rear, citroen dealership part, started car set on full height car will not come up at rear, any ideas

Is it all assembled as it should be i.e. no pipes in the wrong holes etc?
Is your plastic eggcup link in the right place?
Are you corrector linkages all free?

full assembly is brandnew, new rod that fits to bar that plastic piece goes to is new, fiddled about for hours suspension is now up all the way and wont go down brakes feel spongey, will air in the system cause problems with suspension front behaves as it should.
all pipes back were they came from

There are two pipes on the height corrector that you can accidentally swap over easilly, if you get these two wrong the corrector will work in reverse, i.e. it will try to set the car to full or minimum height rather than keeping any height.
Assuming that you've not got your pipes crossed, check that the bracket on the rear anti roll bar is not out of place, it may need adjusting to adjust the ride height.

cheers mate just changed pipes as last resort, defo thought they were in the right place first time around, how wrong was I, car is like a dream, all day on my back yesterday in the rain and all the time pipes wrong way around.

car drives better than ever new acumulator sphere fitted last week, new height corector this week feels like a limo instead of a bin wagon.
