We all know that Citroen spheres are a great ride...Is there air suspension that could be placed instead of the spheres?

Re the 1987 storm - we came to England mid-1990 with 3 small kids & stayed for 2 years. In that time we visited a lot of parks & gardens, where we saw numerous huge trees still lying where they fell - "Came down in the storm" we were told.

15 million trees were supposed to have come down overnight in the '87 storm. It's difficult to imagine what 1 million trees would look like, let alone 15 million. A post-nuclear scenario !

My wife has showed me a dash cam that is actually a rear view mirror, I'm a little dubious about it as James/Hellraiser seems to be up on tech and not mentioned it here's the link https://www.standard.co.uk/shopping/esb ... 11226.html have any of you tried this?

Not something I like the idea of, for me I don't want the normal rear view interrupted at all and a normal screen mounted dashcam works just fine for me!

Re: Catch All - the place for anything you want to discuss off a specific topic
I was considering one of those a while back, mainly for the rear view as my car is terrible to reverse, the view out of the rear screen is rubbish. I often have to reverse it in on the drive to my son's garage, at night and between two rows of parked cars, only 6" clearance either side and the reversing lights are rubbish too
It can be either forward or reverse view, or split. 10" screen. Haven't got around to it yet though.
Some good and awful YouTube videos of them in action and being fitted.
In the meantime I have a standard dashcam given to me by my other son. He bought a better one for three times the price that is actually no better at all.

I will say that the 2.2 HDI engine DW10 is powerful even In my C8. They may of put weight saving ideas on my C8 people carrier so the engine works better. For instance my tailgate isn't made of metal as an L plate won't stick to it, I'm assuming they did other weight saving stuff as it feels lighter than an Astra Estate when driving

Got a problem with this thread, when does a series of posts become a topic, ie if someone has commented on a post, in this thread, is that now a topic and should it be moved into another area of the forum?
And...... If someone is replying to a post, it would be useful to quote the post thet are replying too...... But hang-on just fast action alone creates a topic?

Only quote when other posts intervene and if it is a long post then truncate; it just leave enough to allow readers to understand what you are replying to.Sloppysod wrote: ↑03 Nov 2023, 15:49Got a problem with this thread, when does a series of posts become a topic, ie if someone has commented on a post, in this thread, is that now a topic and should it be moved into another area of the forum?

There is always the arrow beside the original posters username to go the the original post if there is any doubt.

Hey, hey! Less of the rule setting on the thread with no limits.
