How long to get this one. :?:
I predict no instantaneous gettings of this. Can the Nightshift get it before the Dayshift logs on :?:

2nd Place again at Chez Falcon....probably about 10 minutes ish.

9 letter word. just report the times of getting rather than the word.

TWH in the middle of a nine letter word please

Bit reluctant to put this one up, dont want to crow about one of my instantantious gets, but the context of the timing was very appropriate. The little puzzles are played on Radio Newcastle every Tuesday and Thursday about 12.10 ish. Usually miss them and go back and dig them up on BBC Sounds. So this was last Tuesday's

8 letter word with the letters RKLO in the middle of it please

Chez Falcon Results
First place: secured by me with what I will call instantaneous or instantaneous enough not to measure,
Last place: took the length of the next song on the radio

and the next song on the radio just to rub it in...

Nobody does it Better by Carly Simon

Appropriate I thought! :-D

Spot on! That's the one and only word that fits (according to Paul Anthony Jones aka Haggard Hawks the original question setter).

Deoldified

yes probably not in the OED but its odd and caught my attention.

Passed by me unnoticed on the trivia investigation thread as a title piece to this. Even for the youtube averse this little film is worth a couple of minutes, particularly those coming across the RMS Olympic link with The White Swan at Alnwick :-D

Struggled with this one, and was a distant second at Chez Falcon, indeed resorted to a bit of help because I just couldn't see it. Got it after a couple of assists so I call that a DNF :-D

Not much to beat today.

How long to get this ?
10 letter word please starts with WA ends OF

Well I enjoy doing these but lets see if we can get more than one participant.

Make a 6 letter word from these 7 letters other than the obvious "thrift"

A former Word of the Day indeed. How did you do? (don't report the word you know if you have got it)
