fitted the sensor today done about fifty miles and not a sign of the prob.revs dead smooth even seems faster.nobody looking at me strange at the traffic lights as if i'm trying to race them .began to remember why i like this car so much.
Zeljko
your fault sounds exactly the same but my k light has never come on.did it light up before u had it in the dealers???check that they have definatly changed it (PART NO.1338 78 STOCK SENSOR ENGINE)and not fobbing u off.good luck in your quest this has taken me 3 months((1 diesel filter 1 diesel pump 1 coolant sensor 1 throttle sender 1 air filter 1 stock sensor (1 local garage 1 main dealer 2 diesel specialists)2 get to the bottom of.
Kered

yes k light used to come on before i took it dealer
but with restarting of engine it would go away
Tomorow they will change conector on the throttle swich/pedal sensor side because they could not find fault with wiring and that is apparently sugestion of "main main CITROEN" office before they change ECU.
Yeah they just told me that i have Lucas ECU and not Citroen ECU(if it was so good why would anyone changed it-previos owner!!!???)
I wonder what did they look at all this time if they discovered just now that ECU is not original one!?
Talking of competence?! All they wont is changing oil and filters!!!
Great news DAVE.T i am glad at list one is out of the woods.
Zorgman
stay in touch i might be a customer for that ECU who knows.
Still traveling on Saturday time is runing ou............

I'm obviously DELIGHTED [:D] that you have won through.
My reward is that the suggestion, from my friend Cyril, helped somebody. I'll let him know and I know that he'll be delighted too.
Stick with it Zeljko and let us know when you get there!
