Here's a massive curve ball for you, it follows on from your pair...

Mini -- minilite to --
Spoiler: show
stippolyte

I thought it was spelt stippo lite (as per the wheels) but seems is with a Y instead!

I'd not realised quite how old it is, 1915 mentioned on the image above, taken from here:
Told you it was a curve ball! :-D

Like the thinking Matt, and I did home in on the texture, but would never have been on the same wavelength to hit the whole curved ball! :-D

Feel free to paddle around and post in the Trivia Investigation Thread always nice to find out more about random stuff like that, which you wouldn't otherwise come across. I like a bit of industrial history. I am sure stippolyte glass has a bit more to find than a pic...

Trivia Investigation thread is perfect for those random asides....latest one musing about where the Kawasaki "W" logo for its W series of motorcycles originated from starts here viewtopic.php?p=804941#p804941 after having dealt with "Desert Boots" and hundreds of other quirky topics previously.

Ah yes a good idea, sits better in there - especially as I couldn't find a Stippolyte maker's name.

We'll have to settle for Pilkington's logo:

When I bought my first house I built a large garage out of Chance Bros packing cases scrounged from their driver who lived next door to where I worked. :)

The article you linked to is food and drink of the Trivia Investigation Thread...very detailed, niche subject area, plenty of solid information and pictures. I'll shove up a link and photograph our textured glass bathroom window on the Trivia Investigation thread.
