I would hope the eyes of the FCF faithful are primed to spot Renault Wind's, click the shutter and join in with the "All things Renault Wind" thread here... viewtopic.php?p=764786#p764786
Well today has been a Renault Wind spotting day for the Falcon...and also an appearance here with this...
...and there's more...WIND supplies given name Win for our little collection,
...and if you examine this Jaguar XJS closely you will pick up the name of Win Percy who had some success in motor racing with his partner Tom Walkinshaw.

Another Win... Arguably a big win for Microsoft. One of their better efforts...NewcastleFalcon wrote: 09 Aug 2023, 12:38

Sorry for the quality... It was grabbed from the Forum off-site backup repository server. It lives in a dark and dusty corner of CitroJim Towers...
Ironically, it runs Linux

How appropriate for LEN also to appear...one of todays "Given Name" spots on this Suzuki BALENO
A few Lens in past years but not that many now, Len Goodman, Len Hutton couple of North East Footballers Len Shackleton and Len Ashurst and of course Len Tilsoup.
Two in one spot as Baleno also gives us ALEN, a popular name in Croatia and who can forget Alen Bokšić who turned out for a few seasons with the Boro! (also European Champions League Winner with Marseille).

Found during my attic clearance yesterday...
I know the exact provenance of this one. It came off the petrol tank of a GT500 I once owned and broke for spares over 35 years ago...
It's being kept![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Difficult to be certain from this angle, but I believe that is what is referred to as 'a rubber duck' ![Think :-k](./images/smilies/eusa_think.gif)

Your right there bobins, any type of digger on wheels rather than tracks is known as a rubber duck on site

Subject of the recent whatsthisthen
here

The name is still alive today, its history is here and its odd initial marketing phrase "Made like a gun" referencing the initial contracts with the Royal Small Arms Factory at Enfield Middlesex.

Took a while, but got there in the end Steve, after foolishly trying to attach some significance to the object and the obscured lettering starting THWA (could only be Thwaites I thought!) in the background

It was Thwaites, My dad was a driver when they first started delivering bulk beer into pubs with huge tanks.....It was SH 1 TE. I think it was Pennant Lager, he also delivered it in a tanker to a bottling plant at WallaseyNewcastleFalcon wrote: 18 Aug 2023, 11:38Took a while, but got there in the end Steve, after foolishly trying to attach some significance to the object and the obscured lettering starting THWA (could only be Thwaites I thought!) in the background![]()
