That's 3 Headrooms now, can't even remember what "he" did, or whether I liked it/found it funny, but must have left an impression :-D

Better give Mallowan his moment in the FCF Spotlight...Not many would have come up with that one Paul :-D

I dismissed Headroom as a fictional character when I had my first reaction along with Zorin, but nothing else came to me so I included Max the butler as he was believable!! :-D

Think "it" is a little before my time, but was a robot and basically had an edited "stutter" from what I've seen of him. Not sure why so memorable to me either!

I remember watching the film when 'Max Headroom' came into existence. As I recall, a character (who may have been a reported) was trying to escape from a car park (either on a motor bike or an open top car), while two computer people were trying to gain control (from each other) of the access gates. One managed to get the gates open in time, only for the other to raise the ground 'wedge' barrier. The character who was trying to escape was critically injured when their head smashed into the 'Max Headroom 2.3 meters' warning barrier.

One of the actors names I recognised from that wiki link was Hillary Tindall...as Dominique. Of course Ann Hammond in "the Brothers".

Featured on the FCF before...

Showing my age again, we saw Max Bygraves at the Bristol Hippodrome and he introduced a 'New boy' Freddie Starr.

Not a close up unfortunately but the bloke was sat in the car with the window open and I didn't want to get into a discussion about it, added to which the computer I'm on at the minute hasn't got The Gimp on it, only a rubbish drawing programme that let me select the logo but saved it as a chequerboard pattern.

Small break from the accumulation of "given name" examples although someone somewhere may well have named their offspring Kawasaki. Pulled up right next to us in a motorcycle bit next to the ev charger. Nicely from a different era for motorbikes, and quite refreshingly tatty and its scent trail did linger.

On second thoughts within KAWASAKI we have Asa a given name in many parts of the world.

I do remember the footballer Asa Hartford

And the young British actor Asa Butterfield.
