Yes my C5 is a 2.2 HDi (super wizzy twin turbo "175" version)

I'll try and get the laptop plugged in and some of the live data values logged. Need to have a session with the 206 too (will put that in my blog/waffle/diary page rather than off topic here!) Not sure if will be tomorrow evening or else tail end of the week, but will do it soon as get chance.

Some of us have to make do with 128 horses. Or, at the moment, it feels closer to 90 or so. :-)

I have been using this recently, after 1 half tank, not much improvement, put a second half tank in and added this again. It's made a huge difference IMO,

it's designed for start/stop engines so will get the engine to temperature alot quicker. Well worth a tenner in my opinion. The C8 will never win a drag race, but at least mine is starting to accelerate uphill, rather than dropping speed quicker than a guy at a rave. Even the dreaded Welwyn hill on the A1, which Mick will know, is now done at 50mph rather than a dangerous 30mph!!

Added it two weeks ago, but I'm driving very little right now - about 100 miles or so done, so early days. So far all I've noticed is slightly worse performance and the engine management light (finally) coming on - though it's gone again now.

I'm definitely going one at a time... So far it's at best no difference, but I haven't really used enough if it yet.

STP has been around for a VERY long time. When he used to race my Great Uncle Jim had their logo on his short nose D type Jaguar. Here is an article about said D Type, with Jim leaning on it.

I'd probably get more for scrapping it due to her size and weight but feck it, I'm not a rational person, that's why I own a C8!! The STP stop/start is really starting to take effect. Within 10 minutes she's up to temperature even when doing the stop/start town driving and on the high speed roads she's holding her speed alot better

Generally, I prefer to spend my money on maintenance rather than losing it on depreciation, so I've never spent more than £2000 on a car - and I run them as long as I can. Even though the C8 has been expensive recently, I still think I'm well ahead of where I would have been buying equivalent 3-year-old (say) vehicles over the last ~30 years.

I might try a bottle of the DPF cleaner next tank - though I know my DPF is clean.

Half way through the tank with a bottle of STP and, on a 50 mile round trip today, it feels improved. Still far from perfect, but able to accelerate in 4th at 30 and 5th at 50, which it hasn't for a while.

Wow, I would never try accelerating from 30mph in fourth gear, that would be around 2k revs to start with! That's not even in the turbo band
