I've checked through all the suspension TSBs and there isn't anything there apart from mechanical issues (Lower Frip Joint, tightening of the upper carrier. replacement of the stiffness regulators etc.), but nothing related to the AMVAR system. So unless this was just a routine software updates to alter the damper settings I can't say, but it's not documented as a service bulletin anywhere. :-k

That'll be it then James - that's not a published TSB on the Citroen service website. So it's only applied if the customer moans about it and not a standard intervention.

Makes sense. I'd like some of the benefits described, but am scared of making the ride worse.

Is the ECU which gets updated VIN locked? if not, you could get a spare and have that updated and then you can compare and use the software that suits you best.

Models with the AMVAR system have 2 suspension computers. One in the BHI and the other CSS is a separate one. On these models each has a separate function, but work together with the CSS computer controlling the suspension ECU in the BHI.

It could be a bit risky as the suspension heights are retransmitted to the BHI computer, so removing the CSS computer may mean a recalibration of the heights. I can't say what else will be affected either.
