To add the pale blue Super Shell globe...

This is an interesting before and after. As you might expect the garage as a garage is no more, and the re-imagining in the design of the redevelopment is fakery, but it does present a very pretty picture...

From Shell.

Hello Eric,

As changes in the energy market continue to make the news, you may have questions about what these mean for you and your bills.
Before we explain what’s happening, please do remember that we’re here to help, wherever we can.

What’s happening in the energy market?
With wholesale prices decreasing, you may be wondering why your bill isn’t yet reflecting this.

It’s worth remembering that suppliers buy energy ahead of time. So your bill from spring will have been for energy bought the winter before, when prices were higher.

It’s also important to remember that, although wholesale prices are getting lower, they’re still a lot higher than they were a couple of years ago. This means that your bills are likely to remain higher than they were two years ago.

S-Day continues with an excellent Falcon Original from a few years back.

An Aveling and Porter Steam Roller...The company used a rampant horse as its logo derived from the White Horse of Kent. Always good rural road driving advice, expect one round every corner and be able to stop within the distance you can see to be clear. :-D

Image

reminded me very much of Stumbles the Steam Roller from the Ladybird classic "Tootles the Taxi and other Rhymes" well-loved to this day and super artwork!

Squirrel Proof ? Pah ! We must have a more resourceful breed of squirrel down here

I have to try and engineer a way to make it so the blasted squirrels can't unscrew the lid. #-o

Monopoly is as British American as Apple Pie.

Proper 100 points for the first one to come back with the answer, by any and all means, to the question...
Which US City was the board game Monopoly based on in the original Patent in 1935. :?:
Here's the Four "S" title Cards from the original game as a clue.

Think you missed a load there Jim, you've clearly missed mention of your Trainers, (and possibly based on you top, also Tight Trousers!), Your trip to Tesco = propelled by a TU? Is the yellow thing a Tabard?
:rofl2:

I'm only jealous really, all I have seen so far is Tuesday Typical Tedious Traffic Through Temporary ConTraflow - so no picture of that!

Quality bit of creative image composition there Jim :-D Right first time or a few outtakes :?:

Tday has indeed dawned with a decent start...and for those of you not noticing or not following, (surely there cant be any! :-D ), the thread "Favourite colours for cars " This TR7 has just popped up at Mathewsons June Sale. Our Citrojim has passed judgement and described it as not to his personal taste and probably a "marmite" colour, metaphorically not literally of course.

It's interesting, its bright, even if you cant stand the colour it you would notice it, and I would definitely take a photo of it, and I am developing a revival of interest in the TR7 in general. So definitely interesting for me...not sure about the colour! :-D

As well as a jolly handful of posters providing the interesting and quirky content for the thread, ladies and gentlemen we have an audience. On T-Day up came the all the Twos in views, for our May 2023 A-to-Z of anything and Everything thread.

Make a contribution with a post if you can, getting towards the natural conclusion over the next few days, 6 to go after today's "T-Day".

There are four '2's in line there. How many can you put in line so that it reads as a proper sentence? :-D
