Something like "slightyears" I believe. We had this somewhere in the FCF before April 1st 2021 as it turns out
Bit more generous in the Points today!

What is the longest word in the English language?

Around here the S is prominent on the Estate agents boards outside the houses 'Sold' they're having a good run and at some extraordinary prices.

I can see the straight-to-the-point marketing logic in these, but not entirely in tune with the anthropomorphisisation of bricks and mortar... I can see why they went for the red on the "I'm sold" sign. Eyes are drawn to red as per the "S's" on this post.

I'm raring to go with 'S's - did a cruise along the East coast of Tasmania in February last year.
We saw
Sea lions
Scrimshaw
Sooty Oystercatchers
and Seaplanes (actually this one was at the Horizontal Falls, Kimberley Coast)

Roar away Alec, the thread thrives on it!

Petrol of the day
Sadler or Shell, that is the question
The only two that stick out, and there is virtually no internet information on what I seem to remember were a fairly regular sight on the roads of the North East...the Sadler King of Petrol Tankers. It would appear that the marketing phrase, albeit wrapped up in a very iconic logo with the Lion, proved to be a bit of an empty claim.
This is indeed the only image of anything Sadler, I can find, and its thumbnail-ey and generally pretty indistinct. It's from Dan Lockton's site British Petrol Stations Design and Branding History http://www.danlockton.co.uk/petrol/petrol_list.html
That leaves us "Shell". In it's current form it's stations look suitably bright and garish and can be quite photogenic in night-time scenes. The more nostalgic views with the gorgeous globes especially the pale blue Super Shell are the ones for me, a few 60's early 70's cars around always a bonus.
