I can offer a treble from my own 'cars I have owned' list:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

On J-Day you can always remind yourself of what this sounds like. The most well known bit starts at about 3 minutes in. Rugby fans will recognise "World in Union" uses it, as did ICI in their fertiliser/plant protection ads on the Sunday Farming Outlook ad slot in the 60's/70's.

The Car one of the most popular threads on the FCF was kicked off with on a sunny day in Manchester...

"Classics" are very much in the eye of the beholder, well evidenced in the current edition of I-Spy Classic Cars which has 120 selections including Morris Marina, Austin Allegro, Ford Sierra.
Here's my starter for 10 spotted in Manchester, and one of the early whatsthhisthens?
Scores me 25 points as wellfrom I-Spy classic cars
This sporty 2+2 seater car offered as a coupe and a convertible, has striking lines from the Italian design house of Ghia, although the bodies were built in the high quality workshops of Germany's Karmann coachbuilding company. Yet under these fine clothes, the car is pure VW Beetle

There was a postie lived next to on of my aunt's that had one, brand new and I was impressed until I discovered it was just a beetle in drag.
Similar reaction to my first introduction to a Porsche 911.

A nice/good car for its time, unfortunately met its end when Ford bought out the body makers then declined to supply the bodies.MattBLancs wrote: ↑13 May 2023, 18:25 A Jaguar is good (and indeed if there was a manual version I'd probably look at buying an XK8, they (the autos, was no manual) do seem very underappreciated/ undervalued) but obviously only a single "J"
So feel duty bound to come back with a double:

Something else to look at. As well as the "we had better do a lager" Kestrel Lager from S&N in the 70's, Riley had a Kestrel model in the 1930's and revived the name for the badge in the 60's for the Riley version of the AD016 "1100/1300" models. In the 2020's the Lager and the Riley joined hands in this little project
