Right now in the "Free For Sale and Wanted section" of the forum we have a gallery of 45 original pictures of member jeastham's "1996 Citroën Xantia 1.9TD Estate (in green) : Had from new" which is being offered for sale. A link has been provided to the post below to view all 45 pics of what looks to be a very nice car, and becoming a rarer sight on the roads of the UK every day.
and for pure entertainment value for viewers of the Estates/Shooting Brakes/Station Wagons Gallery thread a bit of a youtube review of the Xantia "break".

Absolutely great cars and they are incredibly commodious
I always say my ultimate car would be a an automatic V6 Xantia Activa Estate in deep (Saxo) Yellow!
Sadly, such a vehicle was never built...

Did someone actually do this....it exists itself in model form, so has a fair chance of being a reality. Worth a bit of research, but rather than spoonfeed, anyone care to come up with an answer
Here is the site for the model as a starter for 10

It is described as a Jaguar XK 150 Foxbat Sports Break 1959 1/43 and it was a limited edition (of the model) of 403 (odd number literally).

Well done for picking up the ball and running with it Matt...really helps the forum flow when someone can be actively bothered to add some extras, rather than passively read and view.
...and your dig has been very productive Matt, a tremendous amount of info in the video. The overfast talking of the presenter is wearing, but there's no denying he rattles out an avalanche of information about the car
The moniker of "Foxbat" was chosen probably nicked from the NATO codeword for the MiG-25, although any similarity with the car, is hard to see. Still the last great car name from the UK motor industry was the Triumph Spitfire which had none of the characteristics of its namesake
